Job Summary:
The position of Assistant Manager, Compensation and Benefits requires you to support in leading a team for execution of HR functions covering compensation and benefits (C&B), HRMS and payroll, governance reporting and etc. Analyse C&B market surveys, benchmark best practices, fine-tune existing HR related systems and/or propose new initiatives to strengthen the company's market position in attracting, rewarding, and retaining talent.
Responsibilities:
- Collation of information and preparation of HR reporting i.e. Manpower Headcount and Turnover Report, HR Budget, Organization Chart, HR Dashboard, Payroll Journal, Payroll Allocation and other ad-hoc reports;
- Manage C&B annual exercises, including performance management, salary reviews and other HR projects to support business needs;
- Handle C&B plans and terms of employment such as group health insurance and etc.;
- Review and revise the existing practice and procedures for continuous improvement and effectiveness of overall operations;
- Ensure that benefits practices are in compliance with current regulations and competitive within the industry;
- Provide C&B related and HRMS support to the business units within the Group;
- Perform job grading structure review and job mapping exercise;
- Conduct research on employee satisfaction (e.g. using surveys and quantitative data).
- Manage a full cycle of monthly payroll processing with a high degree of accuracy in accordance with company policies and compliance to local regulations in a timely manner;
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately;
- Review and analyze current payroll processes, policies and procedures and recommend changes towards the best operations practice;
- Manage payroll reporting and audit requirements;
- Oversee statutory contributions; ensure compliance with the latest statutory legislation and all statutory deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- At least a Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related disciplines;
- Minimum 6 years of HR experience with solid C&B skills gained in sizable organizations;
- Hands-on experience with HRMS or payroll software is a must;
- Knowledge of designing compensation packages and bonus programs for various departments and seniority levels;
- Well-versed in Employment Law, and HR policies;
- Strong analytical thinking with good numerical sense;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced in Microsoft Excel skills;
- Must have high attention to detail and focus on data accuracy;
- Strong sense of responsibility and strive for continuous improvement.
