About The Role
This role will be based in Labuan to provide finance support to group finance and business functions including construction, operations, and regional functions.
Main Responsibilities
/ Handling & coordinating annual audits and conducting analysis of financial reports and support as needed
/ Assist in the month end closing and management of accounts
/ Manage and resolve Purchase to Payment process (finance related issue)
/ Ensure compliance with tax filing requirements by studying regulations, adhering to requirements, and advising management on required actions
/ Assist the Global Tax Team on any tax matters in relation to indirect tax reconciliation etc.
/ Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data
/ Assist in all regulatory and local statutory filings
/ Assist in projects and ad-hoc assignments
Qualifications And Experience
/ Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA)
/ Minimum 5years of working experience in the accounting and finance function at high-growth companies
/ Prior experience in Big 4 audit firm is an advantage
/ Experienced in full set of accounts
/ Experienced in handling of audit and taxes (GST/WHT etc)
/ Tax Experience Is Preferred
/ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
/ Strong quality control bias, problem solver
/ A self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
