What Will You Do,
- New product development (NPD)
- Assist the functional teams to develop extension flavors and new products, including the processing procedures and techniques.
- To establish and update related work instructions, including analysis method, product specification (formulation, ingredients list, nutritional fact &, etc) and documents of all projects and samples status on time.
- Review and improve the application for new and current raw materials and packaging materials when necessary.
- Tackle problems encountered during processing and to support procurement in ingredients selection.
- Proactively initiate and follow up all R&D activities include lab-scale sample upon stakeholder request.
- Technical support in a trial run and product shelf life
- To render technical supports on production issues, including processing procedures, preparation of ingredients, and packaging process to ensure finished products are safe and meet the required quality standard.
- Provide relevant technical support and training to Sales, Purchasing and Production/Manufacturing Department
- To conduct a sensory evaluation for shelf life products and closely monitor product stability to determine product shelf life.
- Administrative and Communication
- To communicate with R&D staff and various departments to tackle problems, to establish objectives, and to co-ordinate new projects either in a trial run and online troubleshooting.
- Self-confident, pragmatic, and able to build consensus and facilitate change across organizational lines
- Exceptionally analytical and strategic-minded, combining excellent communications skills and the ability to serve as an effective project champion to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices in the R&D lab to maintain lab hygiene and cleanliness.
- Minimum 4-5 years in production/manufacturing field
- Degree / Food Science/Food technologist or relevant qualification
- Possess analytical, problem solving skills and relevant experience in new product development capacity
- Focus Category Development: Ice Cream/Frozen Dessert
