Construction Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and oversee the technical aspects of designated engineering projects.
• Handle project management tasks, including participating in meetings, coordinating on-site, and supervising activities.
• Support the Project Manager by tracking project progress and addressing any emerging issues.
• Evaluate engineering activities and implement necessary adjustments.
• Communicate with clients, their representatives, official bodies, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the project is executed with attention to quality, safety, and health standards.
• Develop and implement methods for conducting field tests and monitoring their quality.
• Perform additional tasks as required on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or a similar qualification is required.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the construction sector, with a focus on Infrastructure and Bridge Construction.
• Proven experience in Project Management and Coordination.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and authorities.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 Software is advantageous.
• Must be fluent in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Candidates from Sarawak are preferred.
