RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for production scheduling, capacity review material usage, oversite and direction of a team that includes purchasing, inventory control, warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Responsible for the successful integration of supply chain activities to ensure stocks and supplies in the supply chain is constantly reviewed to provide the best service at the lowest capital cost.
  • Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of supply chain management function as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of the business.
  • Collaborate with diverse stake-holders in to identify problems and find solutions.
  • Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline process, systems and improve accuracy and efficiency within operations.
  • Manage current and long-term forecast projections to drive production and inventory planning goals.
  • Develop effective communication and processes with the transportation/logistics vendors.
  • Build relationships within company and external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with solid experience in managing Warehouse operations, purchasing, logistics and planning team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and managerial skills to lead a team.
  • Ability to use a methodical and systematic approach; plans ahead, defines clear priorities and allocates resources effectively
  • Ability to manage supply chain function including logistics, from product development to the shipment of finished items in a mid-size organization.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Work well in matrix organization with interaction involving local, regional and global partners
  • Good knowledge of computer ERP systems and MS Office
  • Willing to travel to Ulu Tiram for work.
