Join our dynamic team in Pontian, Johor, as an Automation Engineer with an Innovative Vacuum Cleaner Manufacturer. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to design, develop, and implement advanced automated systems to enhance our production processes.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop automated systems for vacuum cleaner manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration into production environments. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to test, troubleshoot, and optimize systems. Develop maintenance procedures, provide technical support and training, and identify opportunities for process improvement. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance productivity and reliability in our vacuum cleaner production.

Job Descriptions:

1. Design and develop automated systems, including hardware and software components, Create detailed design specifications and functional documentation for automated processes, develop control systems, including PLC programming, and HMI design.

2. Implement automated systems in production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes, work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure proper installation and functionality of automation equipment, integrate various sensors, actuators, and control systems to achieve desired automation levels.

3. Conduct thorough testing and validation of automated systems to ensure they meet design specifications and performance criteria, identify, and troubleshoot issues, implementing necessary modifications and improvements, perform system calibration and configuration as needed.

4. Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure the long-term reliability of automated systems, provide technical support and training to maintenance and production staff., monitor system performance and conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues.

5. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through automation, stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation engineering, implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

1. Knowledge:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proficient in Chinese, English, and Malay, fluency preferred.

2. Experience:

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering or a related field.

· Experience with PLC programming, HMI systems, and industrial control systems.

3. Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, C++, Python, or similar.

· Strong understanding of robotics, mechatronics, and industrial automation technologies.
