Major Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing the national promotional campaign, ensuring the national promotions are set up in-store during key periods based on the plan.
  • Ensuring execution excellence in the national promotional campaign.
  • Collaborating closely with General Trade (GT), Independent Supermarket (ISM), Key Account (KA) sales teams to align and execute regional or key account plans effectively.
  • Conducting thorough post-campaign analyses to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Managing the execution and distribution of POSM to ensure brand visibility and engagement at the point of sale.
  • Developing and maintaining accurate forecasts to support sales, inventory, and production planning activities.
  • Assist in monitoring weekly inventory levels to prevent out-of-stock (OOS) situations and develop strategies to address potential shortages.
  • Undertaking any other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior and/or Company.

Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experiences in Trade Marketing within the FMCG industry, preferably the food & beverages.
  • A strong understanding of trade marketing fundamentals, including production planning, inventory management and sales operations.
  • Proficient in planning, research, data analysis, forecasting, planogramming, project management, and event management.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sensitivity to numbers and data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Malay, and Chinese.
  • Willingness to learn, constructive attitude, ability to problem-solve, and make things happen.
  • Proactive, self-starter, organized, able to prioritize, and thrive in high-pressure situations while meeting deadlines.
  • Able to work independently across various platforms and departments with minimal supervision, and also a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, reliable, and able to maintain a professional image at all times.
  • Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office, and other relevant software and applications.
  • Possess own car and willing to travel within Malaysia when required.
