Working Location: Senai, Johor

Team Leader role to achieve profitable result for the Company by leading example and competency foundation.

Role shall also support the implementation of cultural changes towards a process of continuous improvement.

People development task to groom talent and successor for business growth objective; including regular training of the staffs to upkeep their competency to perform their job role and continuous attraction of talent to build a sustainable high-performance team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading QSs and Administrator to:
  • Perform quotation with accurate costing, specification compliance assessment and fair contractual obligation.
  • Satisfying customer with quotation submission on time and working closely with Sales Function to secure contract with market price benchmarking.
  • Focus on pursuit to meet defined hit-rate together with Sales Function and sustain productivity for defined SGA cost.
  • Take lead to evaluate the incoming RFQs with Sales Function for Go / No Go decision to sustain team working welfare, productivity and hit-rate.
  • Maintain the Master Costing Template with collaborative input from SCM, Project, Sales and Design functions.
  • Collaborate with SCM to best source raw material, product and services from the market.
  • KPIs for QSs are:
  • Submission on time (>95%)
  • Accuracy (5%)
  • Productivity (>60%)


Prerequisites:

  • Working in the same role or equivalent job-scope for past five years.
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering and familiar with low voltage switchboard design would be an advantage.
  • Successful track record in leading a team of more than five staffs.
  • Embracing personality for all races, cultures and methodology to work with all age group.
