Our client is global electronics manufacturer and production for office equipments.
They are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join the team, based in Bukit Raja, Klang. Oversee Warehousing, Logistics, and Spare Parts operations to enhance service quality, ensure accurate transaction processing, and maintain optimal stock levels. Develop and enforce procedures, manage systems, coordinate with teams, and maintain relationships with third-party partners to support efficient and compliant operations.
Job Description
- Oversee all aspects of Warehousing, Logistics, and Spare Parts operations to consistently enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Establish and enforce procedures, strategies, and risk management plans within these functions.
- Implement and manage systems to ensure accurate transaction processing.
- Collaborate with the Demand & Supply Executive to confirm duty calculations and facilitate prompt goods delivery to the warehouse.
- Coordinate with teams to ensure goods are allocated and distributed to branches on time, following company standards.
- Report discrepancies, such as under/over deliveries or receiving incorrect or damaged items.
- Maintain optimal stock levels at all times.
- Adhere to FIFO principles to reduce stock obsolescence.
- Strategically plan warehouse space to achieve high efficiency and maximize space utilization, aiming for cost-effective stock management.
- Lead half-yearly and annual stock counts across all warehouse locations.
- Develop and oversee monthly cycle count processes for selected locations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and stock forecasts.
- Manage administrative functions and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment by regularly inspecting facilities and scheduling necessary maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
- Manage relationships with third-party partners, including Freight Forwarders, TP transporters, and 3PL providers.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews for TP transporters.
- Monitor team performance, providing coaching, training, and development to ensure staff are capable of performing their duties safely and effectively.
- Work closely with the Head of Division to provide critical support for business decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management operations, with a proven track record of leading warehouse teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in assessing, implementing, and managing supply chain changes.
- In-depth understanding of shipping and customs practices, regulations, and compliance.
