Job Purposes

To market the Banks products and services and enhance the Banks customer portfolio within the prescribed policies and guidelines, implement credit review.

Job Description

1. To solicit, originate and on-board new customers in accordance to Banks risk appetite mainly “bridger” in nature to support and compliment the Debt Capital Market and Corporate Finance team and to develop trustable clients relationship of the assigned portfolio to optimize relationships profitability.

2. To implement credit evaluation and structuring of credit facilities, negotiation of facility terms, preparation of credit proposal including analyzing of overall financial situation; identify risk factors with mitigating justification and measures; customer profiling based on credit rating and conduct of accounts and other relevant information available.

3. To complete review in a timely and accurate manner to ensure accounts are in proper and performing conditions; to identify potential red flags; compliance of covenants and to ensure healthy utilization of facilities and conduct of account.

4 To prepare business strategy plan for accounts under his/her management and to keep abreast with the development in market and industry trend, outlook to ascertain threat and opportunities from the existing and potential portfolios.

5. To prioritize implementation of Anti Money Laundering guidelines are adhered strictly and ensure all Customer Due Diligence and/or Enhanced Due Diligence and Know Your Customers Customer are properly executed with relevant supporting documents in accordance to the Banks Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) Operations Manual.

6. To adhere and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines and any other relevant guidelines or circulars issued by BNM, Association of Banks in Malaysia, BOCHK Group, BOCL and/or any regulatory bodies from time to time.

7. Report suspicious transactions to the Compliance Officer and ensure the secrecy of all cases reported to the Compliance Officer.

8. Perform any other functions as assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years of experience

• Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and process as well as a track record of providing sound banking and financial advice and solutions to clients

• Demonstrate ability to close deals and proficiently manage the credit origination process, gather and maintain credit documentation and monitor accounts.

• A proactive approach in looking for ways in strengthening business relationship with clients, delivers a simple secure and seamless client experience
