Position Overview:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed electrical drawings such as a single line diagram, equipment layout, cable schedule, schematics for various projects and etc. This role involves working closely with project managers and other engineers to ensure that all electrical systems are accurately represented and meet both client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using AutoCAD software.
- Design electrical systems and components in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
- Review and analyze electrical designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical support during the construction and installation phases.
- Update and revise drawings and documents as necessary to reflect design changes and project modifications.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and provide solutions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical design and drafting, with proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience with engineering and project management is a plus.
