JD – Project Engineer (in Palm Oil upstream)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our team in the Palm Oil upstream industry. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing various engineering projects related to the operation and maintenance of Palm Oil Mills. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards (TQC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, and timelines, and be able to monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Coordinate and work with other internal and cross-functional engineering teams to achieve the overall project objectives.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery; while ensuring its compliance with environmental and sustainability standards.
  • Manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel.
  • Work with procurement to source for necessary materials and services.
  • Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget.
  • Continuously identify potential project risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and quality control records.
  • Prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Any other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. Fresh graduates with a passion for project management activities are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
