JOB SUMMARY

The position is responsible for managing pre- and post-contract administration across multiple categories in order to maximise profits, identify and mitigate risks, and maintain commercial governance. It is also responsible for managing the product catalogue to ensure the quality of product data across all channels, including how the product is organised, standardised, and published.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advice category managers on contractual rights and recommendations to mitigate contractual risk during contract negotiations.
  • Monitor contract performance and identify discrepancies for prompt escalation to senior management.
  • Support management, review, and approval of contract change notices prior to stakeholder approvals.
  • Work with Legal to ensure terms and conditions in the contract template are accurate and updated.
  • Implement mechanisms to review contracts to ensure that all SLAs are maintained across the Group and the required renewal process is executed accordingly.
  • Manage monitoring and reporting of contract performance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the wider Category Managers to effectively design, build, and maintain an online catalogue for the organisation.
  • Ensure that all information within the online catalogue (e.g., product names, descriptions, hierarchy, price, supplier, and other related details) is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Receive information on new products or services to be added to the online catalogue.
  • Review online catalogue usage, continuously improving, supporting, and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and expand online catalogue services.
  • Research trends and best practices on catalogue management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
  • Possess a Bachelors’ Degree in any related area or other related qualification which is recognized by the Government from any local or abroad higher learning institution.
  • Must have no more than two (2) years of relevant experience; however, fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrate a forward-thinking approach and embraces continuous improvement in procurement practices.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and contract management.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Have good oral and written communication skills in Malay and English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
