Position: Facilities Engineer – CSA

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms, other engineering disciplines, local municipalities/utilities, trade contractors, and other project stakeholders in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detailed drawings.

• Ensure specifications, standard and checklists developed are aligned with corporate guidelines and safety and quality expectations.

• Monitor any assigned project to ensure that it is within agreed scope, schedule and budget.

• Ensure good constructability, maintainability, quality, sustainability , aesthetics and accessibility of the building and infrastructure.

• Responsible for the repair and maintenance by developing inspection standard operating procedure and risk assessment for routine and non-routine works.

• Performs and facilitates audits, develop inspection checklists, arrange any necessary upgrade, repair or maintenance.

• Facilitates regular studies for spare part needs and repair and maintenance effectiveness to increase reliability and reduce spending.

• Responsible for related budgeting and expenditures monitoring.

• Adhere to company’s environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and quality policy when performing work

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering, or relevant education and more than 3 years’ experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge of building and fire codes, hazardous occupancies, architectural system designs, etc.

• Proven ability to understand structural drawing & schematic related to building, equipment and system documentation.

• Considerable knowledge of construction project management, building services maintenance practices, procedure and installation work.

•Knowledge of basic AutoCAD is preferred.
