Role Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Environmental Engineer with certification in Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental engineering, specializing in the design, implementation, and management of ETP systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that all related environmental matters adhere to the Environmental Quality Act 1974 (EQA 1974), local authority requirements, ISO 14001, and other relevant management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and manage ETP systems to meet project needs and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with EQA 1974, local authority requirements, ISO 14001, and other environmental management systems.
  • Supervise ETP operations, ensuring efficient performance and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on ETP performance, regulatory compliance, and incidents for relevant authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve issues related to ETP systems, including equipment failures and process inefficiencies.
  • Work with engineers, project managers, and environmental specialists to integrate ETP solutions into broader environmental strategies.
  • Train and support team members on ETP operations and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Valid certification in Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP).
  • Competent Person (CePIETSO PCP I BP) certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Science, or a related field.

  • Environmental Consulting knowledge
  • Certifications in environmental management would be a plus.
