- Offer expert advice on recruitment and selection best practices to managers.
- Conduct job analyses and create job descriptions and person specifications.
- Select effective sourcing strategies, manage candidate testing, and handle applications and interviews.
- Address resourcing issues and support recruitment and retention strategies.
- Oversee recruitment costs and ensure candidates have a positive experience.
- Facilitate smooth on-boarding, including induction programs and buddy systems.
- Develop innovative methods to attract and recruit talent.
- Assist managers in identifying and delivering suitable learning and development solutions.
- Support staff development and the roll-out of talent initiatives.
- Provide training to ensure employees are well-prepared for their current and future roles, aligned with business goals.
- Manage employee relations, performance issues, and redundancies.
- Advise on disciplinary and grievance matters, ensuring best practices and minimizing risk.
- Build strong relationships with employees and provide guidance on company policies.
- Stay updated on employment laws and offer confidential counseling when needed.
- Implement performance management practices and support global mobility and labor relations.
- Support compensation and benefits projects and manage performance reviews.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure timely and accurate information.
- Work with managers and compensation teams to address resourcing issues and draft agreements.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers.
- Manage redundancy calculations, build relationships with stakeholders, and support various HR processes.
- Conduct exit interviews, handle disciplinary matters, and ensure compliance with HR policies.
- Contribute to HR tracking, performance appraisals, and budget processes.
- Ensure vendor management and workplace safety compliance.
- Handle ad-hoc projects supporting local and global initiatives.
- Collaborate with the HR team to deliver high-quality service.
- Prepare and present HR briefings, provide proactive support, and improve HR systems and practices.
- A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or any relevant discipline
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Prior experience working within Retail industry is advantageous
