Job Summary

As part of NOV's Corporate HR Central Team under the HR Services Manager, the role of HR Central Supervisor, will work along with the rest of the regional HR Central Teams to providing Multi Country Support for "HUB" (Oracle based HRIS) and Employee Life cycles recording accurately and on a timely fashion.

This role will be directly responsible for supporting the countries & business units currently in scope for the APAC region.

The HR Central Supervisor's responsibility is to ensure the APAC HRC Team can process the Employee life cycle like creating offer letters, New Hire creations, Monthly data changes like Salaries, Tagging Employees to right Finance cost centers, Tagging Employees to correct Timekeeping method codes, Terminating separated Employees, updating Employee Bank accounts & supporting Local Payroll teams by ensuring all the monthly data changes have been updated on or before the payroll cut-offs.

Working closely with the Locals HR Team, Managers and Employees directly, to offer and maintain a high level of customer service throughout each aspect of your role in support of the business and their payroll needs.

As an HR Central Supervisor, you will be able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements whilst exercising good judgement based on business need as well as be quick to identify critical information and respond appropriately. You will be committed to self-improvement and development.

Provide support to HR Services Manager and other personnel in the Human Resources Team.

Core Responsibilities include and not limited to -

  • Supervise/ Administrate the HR Central Team- System Administration / Supporting Local HR on the full Employee Life cycle.
  • Always ensuring Data integrity in the system in intact.
  • Working with HR & Payroll teams for better Process workflows via systems by Maximizing system capabilities.
  • Audit Data in HUB and work closely with Local HR to Validate / Update or a regular fashion.
  • External/Internal Audit Support.
  • Reporting.


Responsibilities/Accountabilty & Authority

HUB is an Oracle based HR software that holds all of Employee data such as personal details, salary information, company cost center details and other employment details. This position is expected to work with Local HR team for each of the countries coming under the scope of this team to ensure all the relevant details are updated in the system.

HR Central Support - HUB (Supervising /Administrating HRC Team on-)

  • Liaise with the Local HR Team on the onboarding process and prepare offers.
  • Creates employee record in Hub and ensure that all information is updated in the system.
  • Employee record updates such as Employee transfers, Bank Changes and other type of updates in relation to employment record.
  • Ensures that all data are updated prior the monthly payroll cut off.
  • Enroll the employee in the Insurance through the system.
  • Termination/Deletion of the employee record from the system.


Audit Support

  • Audit Support - (Internal & external) Assist HR/Payroll Team if there is an Internal or External Audit as requested by the HR Services Manager.


Reporting

  • Support HR Services Manager or Local HR teams with various reports or projects derived from HUB as and when requested.
  • Perform other work-related task as required and assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Degree in HR preferred


Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in HR Dept.
  • 1-2 Years of experience as a Supervisor Role


Skills, Training, Special Knowledge, And/or Language Skills

  • Strong Excel Skills is essential as this position is Data driven
  • Oracle based HRIS Experience
