We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as an Accounts Payable Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Perform full spectrum of accounts payable and payment responsibilities.
  • Process employees’ expense claims and highlight claims that are not in line with expense policy.
  • Prepare reports as required by stakeholders in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Monitor aging of payables and execute procedures to ensure that balances are up-to-date, and payments are made on time.
  • Initiate and support process improvement projects.
  • Participate and support management's initiatives and reports.
  • Perform and support month-end close activities.
  • Participate in bank and treasury-related matters and reporting activities as required.
  • Support statutory and internal audit processes.
  • Support corporate income tax, indirect tax (such as GST, VAT, SST) and withholding tax submissions activities and ensure compliance to statutory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation and filing as required and ensure compliance with policies and local regulations.
  • Support and participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy/ACCA.
  • 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience in Shared Service Function is an added advantage.
  • Meticulous and able to process data with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume and dynamic environment.
  • Positive work attitude, demonstrating good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Reliable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
