  • Responsible for all Civil & Structural engineering activities for the Basic Design and Detailed Design for an Advanced Manufacturing Facility.
  • Responsible for Civil & Structural deliverables per contract including:
    • Assessment of soil investigation and topographical surveys to identify optimum foundation solutions.
    • Report on drainage solutions.
    • Description of structural framing scheme.
    • Identification of design solutions for civil engineering works.
    • Calculations for primary structural members & foundations.
    • Drainage Calculations.
    • Civil Engineering Works General Arrangements.
    • Structural Framing Plans including elevations and sections.
    • Drainage Drawings.
    • Specifications for foundations and superstructure elements, civil engineering elements, performance specification for contractor design items (eg. Piles, precast concrete floors).
    • Calculations to support building permit submissions.
    • Responsible for coordinating and supervising the work and activities for the Civil & Structural Engineers assigned to the project.
    • Responsible in making sure of the technical quality compliance of all Civil & Structural documents and drawings.
    • Responsible to Plan and manage the effort of the Civil & Structural personnel on the project.
    • Responsible to coordinate efforts with the other disciplines, Client, and third parties involved in the project.
    • For Civil & Structural discipline, review engineering deliverables and does checks of drawings, requisitions, and specifications for agreement with the project standards and specifications and for technical safety, operability, and maintainability.
    • Prepares DCNs and manages all changes within Civil & Structural discipline.
    • Responsible for ensuring good communications and that data flows smoothly between various Engineering disciplines interfacing with Civil & Structural.
    • Responsible for applying standards, procedures and other methods as required to maintain and enforce the required levels of technical quality.
