Job Description
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
- Proactively addressing client needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for key accounts.
- Identify opportunities for additional sales within existing client portfolios, focusing on value-added services.
- Focus on retaining clients by delivering exceptional service and addressing any issues that arise.
- Lead the negotiation process for new and existing contracts, ensuring favourable terms for both the company and the client.
- Manage contract renewals to secure long-term agreements that align with business objectives.
- Analyse data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within key accounts.
- Oversee the billing and payment process, working closely with finance teams to ensure timely collections.
- Address any payment issues promptly, maintaining a healthy financial relationship with clients.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing account activities, financial performance, and sales forecasts.
- Provide strategic insights to guide business decisions and identify potential risks or growth opportunities.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related technical functions.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the B2B chemical industry.
- Deep knowledge of inorganic chemicals and key account management processes.
- Proven success in managing international clients and handling cross-border transactions.
- Strong skills in sales planning and forecasting.
- Consistent achievement in meeting sales goals and growing client accounts.
- Strong skills in negotiation, contract management, and conflict resolution.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
