About The Role

Responsible for maintaining the base facility including overseeing building operations, identifying issue of concerns, providing solutions, troubleshooting appliances and building systems, conducting basic repairs and ensuring the integrity of exterior premises.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordinates regular tests to identify any irregularity in the electrical systems, machines, furniture, or other materials that are important for the functioning of the facility.
  • Assist in HSE/Security in Keeping track of the functioning of safety equipment and security measures adapted in the facility.
  • Reports any error in the systems to the concerned items and gets it repaired
  • Be available to respond to emergency situations pertaining to the physical plant, i.e. System failure, water leaks, etc.
  • Ensure that premises and equipment are well maintained, clean and hygienic environment is maintained in the cabins, hallway, reception, warehouse, and in all other parts.
  • Coordinate purchasing for process materials, furniture, and other requirements deemed necessary for the facility in efficient manner.
  • Coordinate non-project-based renovation of an existing facility.
  • Coordinates with product lines and/or base managers in daily operations of repair and maintenance; promptly handles all maintenance problems within the department areas of responsibility


To be successful

  • Candidate must possess at least a certificate or diploma in any field
  • At least 2 years of working experiences in the related field in required for this position
  • Knowledge of SAP system will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook, Access, Excel
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English and Malay fluently (required)
  • Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
  • Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Systematic, disciplined and organized
  • Develop, govern and enforce facility rules & regulations
  • Good collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
