Title: Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 3 to 4 Years
Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Position
e2open is looking for individuals with a strong desire and focus on building observable frameworks across its entire application base in order to improve application supportability, faster response times to problem resolution, trending of performance, and error reporting. The position will require an individual to research new technologies and demonstrate solution capabilities, be a self-starter, and have strong problem-solving skills.
Required
- Strong desire and focus on career path developing a large-scale observability platform
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of web-based application architectures
- Experience with supporting web-based applications
- Proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance engineering, enterprise system architecture and other site reliability best practices.
Desired (must have two or more of the below skills or related skills)
- Working knowledge of image/container technology such as Docker
- Experience with ELK stack and/or Prometheus
- Able to configure, analyze, support the Elasticsearch engine
- Capable of building dashboards with Kibana
- Experience with Logstash, Fluentd, and Fluentbit for log parsing and data massaging
- Familiar with Linux OS and skilled in one or more scripting languages (Python, PERL, ...)
