Accountant

Salary range: RM 6,000.00 - RM 8,000.00 (Negotiable based on experience)

Working location: Sungai Buloh, Selangor

Job Description:

1. Report to General Manager
2. Maintain & update Group accounting records and files
3. Analyze budgets, costing and create expenses reports
4. Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns
5. Meet with clients to discuss confidential accounting issues
6. Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger
7. Reconcile bank statements
8. Analyze transactions with internal and external stakeholders
9. Conduct month-end and year-end closures
10. Prepare documents for audits
11. Reviewing cost allocation assumption and rates
12. Preparing financial statements
13. Liaise with lawyers on all legal matters
14. Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities
15. Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
16. Any others duties assigned by General Manager

Requirements:

1. Minimum bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
2. A Master's degree or professional qualifications with ACCA/MIA is preferred.
3. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in construction industry and familiar with statutory requirement.
