Job Description:
- Report to General Manager
- Maintain & update Group accounting records and files
- Analyze budgets, costing and create expenses reports
- Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns
- Meet with clients to discuss confidential accounting issues
- Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger
- Reconcile bank statements
- Analyze transactions with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct month-end and year-end closures
- Prepare documents for audits
- Reviewing cost allocation assumption and rates
- Preparing financial statements
- Liaise with lawyers on all legal matters
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
- Any others duties assigned by General Manager
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- A Master's degree or professional qualifications with ACCA/MIA is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in construction industry and familiar with statutory requirement.
