We’re looking for a Sector Sales Manager to be based in Malaysia, for our business in the Renewables sector. The role will be focusing on the Asian markets and the main job function is to comprehensively plan, manage and drive all sales and marketing activity within the identified sector(s), to grow the business within the sector(s), and boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with Marketing to develop a highly competitive sector sales strategy
  • Manage the overall opportunity pipeline in the CRM system for forecasting and fleet management purposes, and hold regular opportunity pipeline reviews
  • Assist in the modelling of Renewable Solutions to meet customers’ needs & develop relationships with “Market Partners”
  • Manage to the standard of the Aggreko “Non-Negotiables” & “Sales Leadership Blueprint” – with a significant focus on coaching and developing
  • Create and maintain sales plans for the assigned sector, in line with the sector strategy
  • Support the field sales team with targeting market opportunities and developing solutions to meet those opportunities

You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience

  • A proven track record of delivering sales target in a challenging environment, ideally in the power generation and/or Renewables market
  • A subject Matter expert with a strategic mindset & deep knowledge of the sector(s)
  • Financially & commercially savvy, Customer focused, results driven with high working standards
  • Strong ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload as well as that of others
  • Excellent interpersonal & relationship management skills with stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Technically minded - able to understand and learn about a wide range of products and applications
