- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for various positions within the restaurant.
- Conduct thorough and effective interviews, reference checks, and background screenings to ensure the selection of qualified candidates.
- Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new employees have a smooth transition into their roles and are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, including but not limited to wage and hour laws, anti-discrimination laws, and health and safety regulations.
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, time and attendance records, and training records.
- Assist management in other HR related tasks.
- Minimum 3 years of human resource experience in restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Experience in handling foreign workers and employees permit.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and managers.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR software applications.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
