  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our client, a start-up Tech firm with operations in a number of countries in Asia is looking for an experience Finance Manager to lead the team in KL on the setup and operation of the Finance Department.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports (journal, general ledger, trial balance, balance sheet, profit & loss statement, management report, etc.)
  • Establishing and executing internal control and process on the company's accounting and financial procedures.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the financial planning process, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, developing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, government bodies, suppliers as well as internal clients/other departments
  • Support accounting functions for other entities in the region

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related disciplines or a relevant Professional Qualification in Accountancy such as ACA/ACCA/MICPA.
  • At least 6 years of working experience in related field with at least 2 years in a Managerial role
  • Strong experience in MFRS/IFRS
  • Self-motivated, team player who is dynamic with mature personality, high integrity, confident and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Pro-active, strong initiative and results-oriented.
