Our client, a start-up Tech firm with operations in a number of countries in Asia is looking for an experience Finance Manager to lead the team in KL on the setup and operation of the Finance Department.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports (journal, general ledger, trial balance, balance sheet, profit & loss statement, management report, etc.)
- Establishing and executing internal control and process on the company's accounting and financial procedures.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the financial planning process, including budgeting and forecasting
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, developing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, government bodies, suppliers as well as internal clients/other departments
- Support accounting functions for other entities in the region
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related disciplines or a relevant Professional Qualification in Accountancy such as ACA/ACCA/MICPA.
- At least 6 years of working experience in related field with at least 2 years in a Managerial role
- Strong experience in MFRS/IFRS
- Self-motivated, team player who is dynamic with mature personality, high integrity, confident and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Pro-active, strong initiative and results-oriented.
