One&Only Desaru Coast is seeking a passionate and dedicated Director, Finance to join our team based in Desaru, Johor.

Align management style, working practices and conduct with One&Only Desaru Coast and Kerzner’s vision, Global Support values, operating standards and policies. To comply with Kerzner’s code of conduct at all times.

Ensure that Policies and Procedures are in place and operating, or that appropriate deviation are requested from the VP Finance; report known deviations of Hotel Policy and Procedures to the General Manager and take action to address them.

Present and explain variances to financial objectives to the General Manager, Owners and relevant Department Heads in a clear and concise manner with recommendations for future corrective action.

Practice effective cash flow management and communicate all significant cash flows to global support on a regular basis.

In conjunction with the GenerAal Manager, the Director, Finance is responsible for compliance with: relevant contractual and legal obligations, Kerzner International Finance Policies, the Hotel Management Contract, all other Kerzner and One&Only Desaru Coast Policies.

Personally build clear and open lines of communication with all departments

Understand and abide by all Government laws relating to the Finance department.

Be actively involved in maintaining all Kerzner International programs relating to finance.

Implement and monitor programs to maintain the condition of Hotel assets.

Actively monitor all the third party contracting with One&Only Desaru Coast. Negotiate the terms and condition in favor of Hotel.

Actively monitor all IT Project implemented at One&Only Desaru Coast, which are critical in benefit of Hotel operation.

Ability to lead, motivate and develop colleagues.

Be innovative, financially savvy, Connect emotionally with guest and internal customer.

Be well versed in the Colleagues competencies of Kerzner International,

2 Years’ experience in a similar position in an executive committee capacity

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, People Management Skills.

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

Well verged with technology, which helps Finance to take next level.
