  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking a Medical Affairs Consultant on behalf of a world-leading medical device manufacturer. This role will be instrumental in providing medical expertise and ensuring compliance with medical affairs processes in Malaysia.

Potential Start Date: October through February

Contract Length: Minimum 12 months, up to 3 years

Work Schedule: Part-time (0.5 FTE) and full-time (1 FTE) options available

Work Arrangement: 3 days in the office (Kuala Lumpur), 2 days working from home

Reports To: Head of Medical Affairs, APAC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical insights to support clinical development and regulatory submissions, ensuring alignment with local and international guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and review medical strategies, marketing materials, and educational programs.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and medical experts to foster scientific exchange and support business objectives.
  • Review and manage medical information requests and adverse event reporting.
  • Ensure medical and ethical compliance, addressing local regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD) or an advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Medical Affairs or a related role within a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical organization.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trials, regulatory processes, and local healthcare systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
