Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive audience data strategy aligned with Mercedes-Benz’s overall business objectives and brand positioning, ensuring data privacy compliance.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a regional audience strategy to identify, acquire, and engage target audiences across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage first, second, and third-party data to optimize audience segmentation, targeting, and personalization.
  • Stay at the forefront of data and technology advancements, evaluating and implementing new solutions to enhance audience targeting and campaign performance.
  • Measure and optimize campaign performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive ROI and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Mercedes-Benz Data and Website Teams to drive data growth initiatives and explore value exchange mechanisms for additional first-party data collection.
  • Act as an AdTech expert within the media teams, supporting business use cases and providing regular updates on industry trends.
  • Ensure accurate audience segmentation and activation from the CDP across Mercedes-Benz Paid Media Performance.
  • Future-proof Mercedes-Benz advertising technology stack and data strategy against industry and regulatory changes (e.g., consumer privacy, cookieless future).
  • Create robust business proposals demonstrating the potential value of new technologies and audience solutions.
  • Collaborate and support the relationship with our Brand Safety partner Double Verify.
  • Extensively document marketing vendor tagging and contribute to cross-team process improvement across Mercedes Benz.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in technical digital marketing roles with a proven track record in audience development and data-driven campaign optimization.
  • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem, including Ad Servers, DMPs, CDPs, analytics, tagging, and digital marketing buying tools.
  • Extensive experience with first-party data activation and testing alternative digital technologies (e.g., Clean Rooms, UUIDs, cohort-based targeting).
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on audience targeting and measurement.
  • Proven ability to create and drive business cases through effective stakeholder management.
  • Commercial mindset – able to create and drive business cases through stakeholders within the business.
  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audience.
