Deputy Financial Controller / Senior Finance Manager

Job Overview

Reporting directly to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Finance Director. You'll oversee financial management, reporting, budgeting, and compliance for our group. The ideal candidate is a financial expert with experience in group consolidation and BURSA reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.
  • Prepare and review Annual Report and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, variance analyses, and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor & review actual utilization.
  • Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow budgets to ensure the company has sufficient cash flow.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure the timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Work with the Company Secretary to prepare and review announcements related to financial results, corporate actions, or other significant events. Ensure that all announcements comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance regulations and best practices
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to internal control procedures and policies.
  • Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and recommend enhancements.
  • Review tax provision and ensure accurate reporting in financial statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax, SST and other relevant taxes.
  • Prepare and review transfer pricing documents

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in group financial reporting, consolidation, and BURSA reporting.
  • Master degree in Accouns/CA/CMA/CPA
