Position Summary
The Sales Team Leader plays a crucial role in driving the success of Gogoprint by leading and managing a team of Sales Executives. You will be responsible for overseeing their performance, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that sales targets are met. Additionally, you will manage a portfolio of key accounts and contribute directly to revenue growth.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, train, and manage a team of Sales Executives to achieve their individual and team sales targets.
- Set clear objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Organize regular team meetings to track progress, address challenges, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on results, accountability and collaboration.
Key Account Management
- Oversee the management of key accounts across your team, ensuring customer needs are met and strong relationships are maintained.
- Oversee the growth of your team’s pool of Elite customers, and actively manage the upgrading / downgrading and unassignment of customers
- Personally manage a select group of high-value clients to ensure they receive top-tier support and service.
- Drive growth by increasing the average spend and order frequency from key accounts.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained in Gogoprint’s CRM and ERP systems.
Prospecting and Business Development
- Collaborate with Sales Executives to develop action plans for acquiring new customers: setting targets, defining outreach strategies, and creating pitches.
- Support the team in executing these plans and ensure targets are met.
- Assist in converting new leads into long-term customers with recurring orders.
Sales Operation and Closing
- Guide the team in handling inbound leads, understanding customer requirements, and offering tailored solutions.
- Develop your team’s negotiation skills and strengthen the company’s sales tools (company introduction deck, onboarding videos, etc.)
- Assist in negotiating and closing large deals, providing support to ensure successful sales conversions
- Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive and fast, and coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and artwork teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
General
- Monitor and report on the performance of your team and key accounts to senior management.
- Contribute to revenue growth by meeting individual and team sales targets.
- Stay informed about market trends and provide insights to help Gogoprint remain competitive and innovative.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve targets.
- Experience working with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.
