Job Responsibilities

  • Review and verify full set of consolidated financial report of all group;
  • To be responsible to manage the finance and accounting team on all matters related to finance, accounting, treasury, tax and compliance assignments;
  • To analyze and review to identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost control, risk management, fund management and business expansion;
  • To prepare, implement and control the financial and operational budget for all the businesses of the Group;
  • Identify and provide financial strategies to the Board for the current businesses and the growing prospects;
  • Effectively plan and monitor together with the finance and accounting team to ensure the delivery of accurate monthly reporting and financial forecast with analysis within the datelines;
  • Evaluating the accounting system's compatibility with the business needs and identify improvement;
  • Develop and implement group financial policies and procedures to strengthen the internal control;
  • Ensure all compliances to the latest accounting standard and taxation requirements;
  • Handle and communicate with external professional parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers and etc;
  • Prepare group cash flow analysis and determine finding gap requirements for the businesses.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, or professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA and MIA.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience preferably within the construction or real estate industry. Candidates from reputable audit firms are encouraged to apply.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in construction project financing and contract management is desirable.
