This role will report directly to the Director/Founder and will be responsible for:

  • HR Strategy: Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition: Leading the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of qualified candidates.
  • Employee Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with employees and fostering a positive work environment.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures, such as employee handbooks, performance management systems, and compensation structures.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • HR Analytics: Analyzing HR data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a generalist HR role
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is essential to deal with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
