Responsibilities:

  • Operate & maintain utilities plant and WWTP/ IETS to ensure no unplanned interruptions of utilities supply through effective & efficient operations & planned maintenance.
  • Ensure safety agenda is implemented in the daily job.
  • Operate & maintain utilities plant and WWTP/ IETS and execute in a qualitative way the process and delivery of the product, while improving the key performance indicators and production losses, leading to a safe working environment on machine/area.
  • Continues and follows up on breakdown analysis.
  • Perform safety checks by simulating faults especially on Steam Boilers.
  • Participate in immediate breakdown repair or to assist in maintenance and overhaul.
  • Perform down time analysis and trouble-shooting; and identify the problem(s) prior to calling Manager- Engineering Planned Maintenance
  • Recommend innovative solutions and to implement through to avoid any product damage or delay production.
  • Executes the tagging process, CILT and applies problem solving tools. Participates and starts leading the improvement teams.
  • Participates in RCFA (5 why) or organized for his/her team to participate, including training/mentoring.
  • Supports on management of maintenance plans, asset master data, asset performance and cost analysis (asset technical specialist).

Requirements:

  • Secondary vocational education (Practitioner-level) mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Certificate in Boilerman Grade 1 with min. 6 years working experience preferably with 3 years in FMGC.
  • 8 years working experience within Utilities, with knowledge in TPM is preferred
  • If possess certificate as waste water treatment plant competent person and chargeman certification (A0) will be an added advantage
  • Basic education in process automation control.
  • Good knowledge of maintenance engineering, supply and inventory management processes.
  • Actively manages, coordinates and supervises service suppliers in Utilities section.
  • Experience in managing Boiler operations, Refrigeration, CO2 compressor, air compressor and water treatment plant operations
