Job Description
- Regularly inspecting and cleaning solar panels to maximize energy output.
- Inspecting and maintaining panel support structure and building facilities to ensure safety and integrity.
- Inspecting and maintaining electrical wiring and connections to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting inverters and other electrical components for proper functioning.
- Conducting regular preventative maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime and ensure peak performance.
- Performing system tests and checks to identify and address any issues promptly.
- Monitor and supervise all site landscaping and maintenance of the garden and grassed areas are completed in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
- Supervise and organise contract maintenance tradesmen, general workers and cleaning staff.
- Supervise and manage non-technical contracts as required within the facility.
- Maintain high quality of plant history in CMMS or other available maintenance recording system.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and energy production.
- Collaborating with other team members and contractors to complete necessary repairs and upgrades.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others.
- Responding to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner to minimize downtime and any potential damage to the solar plant.
- Assist in preparing annual budget and any proposal for project/ improvement works.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Holds Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering
- Holds Suruhanjaya Tenaga Certificate of AO Competency or above.
- At least 3 years working experience in electrical related field.
