  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The company delivers a unified commerce platform for the Retail, eCommerce, Wholesale Distribution, and Food and Beverage industries. Zoku collaborates with leading technology companies and has developed Zoku Sync, a cloud Integration platform hosted in the Microsoft Azure Cloud, to enable seamless connectivity between systems.

This is a full-time position that requires full commitment to the company, including adherence to the company's moonlighting policy. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to meet business needs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Codes, supports and maintains basic application development projects according to appropriate specifications
  • Analyzes problems such as user requirements, input data and form, output data and form, available system configuration, processing and turnaround time requirements
  • Codes, documents and implements programs according to the project specifications provided. Participates in peer reviews
  • Tests code; executes unit test plans for assigned programming tasks.
  • Coding experience and discipline with Test Driven Development (TDD) e.g. Mocha, Karma, Jasmine
  • Continuous Integration experience
  • Strong programming skills, personal computer and business solutions software skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs. Communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel. Ability to learn and expand on technical expertise.
  • Required to travel approximately once every 3 to 6 months

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Fully conversant in full stack dev cycle in .NET and JavaScript, experience with TypeScript
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good presentation skills to communicate and engage with customers and colleagues
  • Collaborate proactively with functional users and analysts, to translate business and integration requirement into configurable component designs and solutions
  • Experience with frameworks & libraries such as React, Angular, Bootstrap
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, experience with MongoDB preferred
  • API development, web services - REST, SOAP with experience in JSON structures and YAML
  • Data analytics and data modelling concepts
  • Agile delivery using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience with source control (git), Bitbucket/GitHub, and task management systems (Jira)
  • Experience with deployment in Azure or Amazon Web Services, preferably using Docker or Kubernetes
  • Understanding of Unix / Linux concepts and shell scripting
  • Technical Bachelor’s Degree required or Advanced degree in a related field OR a suitable combination of education, training or experience will be considered
