  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for a driven Legal & Compliance Manager who will be responsible for driving the compliance with regulatory requirements, standards and internal policies procedures. Your role will facilitates Group’s initiatives to mitigate risk of non-compliance and he will be reporting to the person in charge of risk and compliance. The person is expected to have legal knowledge or background or he is having keen interest in legal and contractual matters, he shall assist the Group CEO in handling the basic legal and contractual matters.

You are driven to:

  • Driving the Group’s compliance with the relevant standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies / procedures.
  • Establish & implement compliance program and work plan.
  • Establish control assessment checklist for compliance audit and self-audit.
  • Provide top-down support, work with Compliance Owners of various compliance areas to achieve compliance objectives.
  • Undertake compliance audits, special examination and investigation.
  • Act as Compliance Officer interacting with regulators where necessary.
  • Administer the Whistleblowing Policy, Anti-Bribery Framework, Business Continuity & Crisis Management Framework, AML/CFT etc and their corresponding programs.
  • Provide advisory to Group CEO with regards to emerging regulatory requirements, legal and contractual matters.
  • Responsible for the Group’s legal & regulatory risk register.
  • Instilling the compliance culture among employees through guidance, coaching, mentoring.
  • Establish a mechanism to monitor Group compliance and report to the Senior Management on a quarterly basis.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in legal and compliance especially from diversified industries.
  • Relevant working experience and exposure in Public Listed Company or MNC
  • Strong knowledge in Governance, Risk Management, Controls, Compliance and/ or Investigation
  • Must have legal knowledge or background or he is having keen interest in legal and contractual matters.
  • Willing to be based at Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.
