As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating opportunities, perform due diligence, analyzing market trends and financial data to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Modelling and Analysis
Carry out the financial modelling and also conduct comprehensive financial analysis and provide commercial insights including valuations, pro-forma financial modelling and risk assessment to evaluate feasibility of each renewable energy transaction. Assist in the development of business cases for new initiatives and investments in renewable energy.
Deal Structuring
Collaborate and support with legal and finance teams to structure renewable energy deals, negotiate terms and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Competitor Analysis, Customer Insights and Market Research
Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on current and future projects. Assist in the development of business cases for new initiatives and investments in renewable energy.
Performance Metrics
Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the success of renewable energy initiatives
Reporting
Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting growth opportunities, market insights and progress towards expansion goals. Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for renewable energy projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in commercial analysis, preferably within the consulting or renewable energy or related industries.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, markets, and regulatory environments.
