  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical/application consultancy to win customer opportunities, inclusive of selection of SICK / 3rd Party products, proof of concept(s), feasibility study reports and demonstration.
  • Identify product application problems and provide resolution(s).
  • Conduct technical training on-site/online to customers and distributors.
  • Evaluate customer applications and recommending SICK solutions to fulfil customer needs.
  • Analysis of application samples and provide solution recommendation report.
  • Lead in convincing customer technical feasibility of proposed solution.
  • Support interfacing of SICK products / solutions with 3rd party.
  • Cross functionally collaborates with solution engineering, R&D, customer support, services, market product management, and sales.
  • Provide Post implementation support during warranty period.
  • Demo asset/tools, test equipment, test stations management.
  • Perform on-site troubleshooting, service, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Provide technical support in marketing activities for sales/marketing event.
  • Provide main roles as needed: Support and travel across SEA countries with Malaysia as the priority.
  • Responsible for programming, configuration, onsite installation, commissioning, site support and troubleshooting for strategic projects won.
  • Increase and accelerate success of the planned vision business initiatives and help us in planning for the new ones.
  • Support product demo videos and other media.
  • Cross functionally collaborates with marketing communications.
  • Project management for any on site Proof of Concept which include facilitate communication and execute technical setup with internal team and 3rd party.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-years of experience in industrial or factory automation with sensor technology
  • Experience in Machine vision will be a bonus.
  • Experience in industrial control technologies, communications networks, PLC programming and schematic design.
  • Comfortable with occasional travelling on short notice.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter, motivated, assertiveness, assured with ability to work structurally as a team or independently.
