- Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain product documentation, including Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and feature lists
- Generate reports on product performance metrics and assist in tracking progress against goals
- Populate and update tracking sheets and monitor for abnormalities on a weekly basis
- Translate and capture essential details of discussions into PRDs for expansion by product managers or product designers
- Monitor and check in on the performance of A/B tests and experiments
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Investigate, reproduce, and document reported bugs. Collaborate with product managers to prioritize bug fixes
- Troubleshoot technical issues with our product and provide solutions
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct preliminary market research to gather insights on customer needs and the competitive landscape
- Extract and analyze data to support decision-making and prioritize product features
- Quality Assurance Support:
- Assist in coordinating testing efforts and ensuring products meet quality standards before launch
- Document and track issues, collaborating with development teams for resolution
- Participate in the QA process, ensuring releases adhere to specifications and meet quality standards
- Customer Feedback Management:
- Facilitate, collect, and analyze customer feedback through surveys, interviews, and support tickets
- Develop strategies to incorporate user insights into product development
- Source participants for user research and user interviews based on predefined criteria
- Assist with answering help desk questions when teammates are on leave
- Report on user insights
- Tool Management:
- Manage and optimize tools the product team uses, including project management software, communication platforms, and analytics tools
- Ensure the team is trained and equipped to effectively use these tools
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date kanban boards and ensure synchronization across teams
- Special Projects:
- Lead or assist with special projects to fulfill the product team's needs, including creating documentation, developing processes, or managing product launches
- Examples include:
- Setting up a drip campaign on a marketing automation platform and scheduling social media posts to promote mobile app downloads to new mailing list users
- Building a database of users for user research purposes
- Performing sanity checks on tracking data and analytics to ensure data hygiene
- Proficiency in written and spoken English. (Most communications will be in English.)
- Previous experience in product operations, product management, or project management is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong critical thinking ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, Tableau) is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
- Outcome-driven mindset with the ability to think through complex issues and apply a logical mindset to solving problems
- Problem and customer-obsessed. Willing to deep dive and figure out the best solutions
- Self-driven and able to take full ownership and lead projects independently and proactively in a cross-functional environment
- Experience with fast-paced and demanding environments, possessing a high level of intellectual curiosity, and strong judgment in the face of ambiguity will be a plus
