The role will be responsible to work with CFS R&P - Business Risk & Compliance Management team to establish appropriate compliance and policy governance within CFS division, providing independent compliance gap analysis and advisory as well as review of key policies and procedures.

This includes:

  • Review standard operating procedures, product due diligence and scripting for CFS
  • Promoting regulatory awareness and to identify training needs within CFS
  • Disseminating regulatory updates and correspondences, where applicable
  • Review and perform gap analysis for new, updated and concept paper by BNM, Group Policies and Act
  • Engage and to work in collaboration with the business unit to develop action plan for control processes in addressing the regulatory requirements upon gap analysis conducted
  • To assist in developing, writing, and implementing policies and procedures for CFS
  • To assist in strategize, contribute and taking responsibility of the workplan for areas of policies expertise
  • To drive the business risk and compliance risk awareness and culture
  • Leading, managing and involve in projects and adhoc assignment
  • To provide advice, information, and guidance to business unit on all policy and standard issues
  • Develop and maintain good relationship with all stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Education to at least degree level or equivalent education or experience.
  • At least 5 years working experiences and knowledgeable in CFS products, services, process and its applicable Regulations and Act.
  • Experience in Compliance and Digital risk matters in relating to CFS is an added advantage.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a policy or regulatory environment.
  • Ability to lead, manages, support and motivate team member, including monitoring performance or results driven.
  • Ability to build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships including demonstrated networking and negotiation skills and ability to manage working groups.
