Main duties and responsibilities
Finance and Accounting
- Manage the Finance and Accounting operations for clients with the assistance of the team
- Supervise and review the preparation of consolidated financial statements, business activity reports and forecasts of manpower requirements
- Oversee and supervise corporate income tax calculation for our clients
- Oversee the preparation of the finance related reports and deliverables by the team
- Ensure compliance with local statutory accounting and taxation policies and requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting according to local statutory
Internal Audit / Other projects
- Lead and support projects related to Finance and Accounting such as Finance Remediation and Internal Audit projects
- Work with senior stakeholders to brainstorm and strategize solutions for finance related issues
- Work with the team in analyzing design of operational processes and control including testing effectiveness of control to identify ineffectiveness control in Finance and Accounting process.
- Analyse and improve design of reporting template for regulatory and management purpose.
- Identify, mitigate potential risks and highlight to key stakeholders
- Manage the relationship and communication with the client
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related disciplines. Preferably a certified/chartered accountant with qualifications in ACCA/CA/CPA/CMA.
- At least 5 years of working experience in Finance or IA. Experience in managerial or leadership role will be highly desirable.
- Structured thinker with exceptional problem-solving ability and strong attention to details.
- Strong sense of client services, good communication skills and a sense of teamwork.
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast paced environment
