Job Summary
Responsible for DKSH’s E-Commerce activity in Malaysia for our Consumer Goods Business Units. Working alongside a team of dedicated digital talent. Plays the role of key account management & strategic planning, data analytics, business & relationship development. Bringing many of the world’s favorite brands to all key E-Commerce platforms, and continually deliver the best online shopping experience to consumer.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Analytics

  • Plans and assists in the merchandising and promotion campaigns for online channel
  • Manages promotional mechanism (bundles set creation, discount promotion with e-commerce players)
  • Manage stock fulfilment rate with e-retailers and clients
  • Promotion price maintenance on SAP for all e-retailers/e-marketplaces & clients
  • Assist in developing business plan and marketing and operational plan
  • Ensure sales target achievement
  • Build brand together with clients
  • Monitor and evaluate outcome of implementation
  • Monitor sales performance vs approved A&P budget
  • Execute trade claims recovery from clients within the contractual terms and responsible for A&P
  • Accurate price maintenance in accordance to contractual terms
  • Minimize unnecessary cost & risk which impact P&L
  • Robust in research and analysis of new online opportunities
  • Regularly analyze trade returns and develop action plans to drive down returns or errors in delivery
  • Assist in financial reconciliation supervision (accounts receivable and accounts payable)
  • Business reviews and Post sales reporting.


Business Development

  • New channel expansion & terms negotiations
  • Building strong business relationships – with client and stakeholders, within the team, departments, and business unit.


General Tasks

  • Communicate / interact the online business plan to all operational departments and business units
  • Assist in expansion of E-Commerce business opportunities in mobile/ social commerce and cross-border trade
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned by the superior


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree Business or Economics or any relevance
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, at an e-commerce platform, brand, or distributor Prior experience in a company known for eCommerce or online fulfilment operations related to the logistics industry is an added advantage
  • Digital savvy with knowledge of E-Commerce business models, operations, technology
  • Experience managing E-Commerce channels
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Management consultancy experience is a plus
  • Plus point if familiar with using SAP
  • Good finance and account knowledge and hands-on experience on business process design, process architecture, and process levels
  • Consumer-first mindset, team-player
  • Strong passion in E-Commerce and business acumen
  • Ability to multi-task and possess excellent communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset that is driven, flexible and willing to learn
  • Deliver on deadlines with agility and adaptability

  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and in teams at all levels within DKSH and with external parties
