  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

VP of IT Business Analyst with an Investment bank in Malaysia - Pay Up till MYR 20,000 Per Month

Your new role

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with a strong understanding of capital markets and investment banking products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders


Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with business stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for new technology implementations.
  • Analyze financial data and create models for decision support.
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.


What you'll need to succeed

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
- Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst, specifically within the capital markets or investment banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
