Site Safety Supervisor

Primary Job Scope

Conduct/verify on Functional Assurance (FA), NCOSH, MSOSH audits and assist on closure of action items like FA, EOC, RAP, RA, Issue Bank, and training Plan before due dates.

Conduct terminal walkabout to ensure HSE and legal compliance, including equipment safety,

PPE, PMT, JKKP 8 submission, UAUC, legal register for Ordinan Sarawak/Sabah and resolving field citations from authorities like NOI, NOP, OSHWA audits.

Conduct Toolbox Talk and HSE Sharing

Execute HSE programs, activities and implementation in the Department to support the company’s Health, Safety & Environment goals and objectives by complying with established work processes and management systems, company rules, policies, guidelines and regulation requirements.

1. Support in implementation of HSE programs and HSE routines by utilizing the HSE standards and procedures to

ensure conformance and excellence HSE performance.

2. Participate in HSE Monitoring (e.g. Scheduled Waste, Chemicals, Noise, Audiometry Test) and Walkabout to

ensure compliance towards legal requirements.

3. Act as resource person and liaison for HSE information on procedures, guidelines and standards to ensure

consistency of practice.

4. Conduct and coordinate HSE Induction, HSE Training, HSE Contractors Toolbox Talk/Engagement involve in High

Risk Activity and etc. (e.g. Safe System of Work (SSOW), Environment).

5. Coordinate and perform First Line Functional Assessment related to HSE (Safe System of Work (SSOW),

Environment and OH/IH) as per schedule, follow up on the findings and action items closure.

6. Participate in reviewing HSE risk assessment and procedures to ensure their relevancy and completeness.

7. Participate in reviewing specific Emergency Response Plan and Incident Action Plan and provide initial findings

incident at site.

8. Participate in legal register review and to ensure compliance towards legal requirement.

9. Execute Contractor HSE Management programs to ensure contractors’ compliance to HSEMS and other

requirements through systematic assurance and engagement session.

10. Verify compliance of administration the Scheduled Waste/Chemical Management process and activities i.e.

Schedule Waste Inventory, labelling, contractor supervision and legal compliance.

11. Establish and maintain rapport with local authority i.e. DOSH, DOE, BOMBA.

Minimum Certificate or Diploma in relevant field with at least 3 years working experience as HSE Technician.
