Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management in Commodity Trade:

o Handle accounting processes, tax planning, and financial arrangements in commodity trading and supply chain management.

o Provide effective financial advice and support for business decisions.

2. Treasury Management:

o Manage the entire spectrum of fund and asset management for cross-border and overseas trade.

o Develop and maintain channels for fundraising within domestic and international markets.

o Ensure objective risk control in front-office operations.

3. Compliance & Legal Requirements:

o Ensure adherence to Malaysia’s local tax laws and international transfer pricing regulations.

o Comply with the Malaysian Companies Act and other legal and regulatory requirements.

4. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

o Review and analyze group financial statements and reports.

o Lead and oversee the audit processes across the group.

5. Banking & Financial Networks:

o Maintain strong relationships with local banks and be well-versed in banking products and services.

o Leverage an existing network with Malaysian banks for financial operations.

6. Trade Settlement & Process Management:

o Understand and manage the settlement processes and logic in import/export transactions involving commodities.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Educational Background:

o Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

2. Professional Experience:

o Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commodity trading, preferably within non-ferrous metals, palm oil, or retail consumer goods sectors.

o Deep understanding of domestic and international capital markets, including currency and interest rates.

3. Skills & Competencies:

o Strong data analysis skills, including familiarity with financial models, financial statements, and company valuation methods.

o Integrity, responsibility, and strong self-motivation.

o Excellent communication, coordination, and team management skills.

o High resilience and ability to work under pressure.

4. Additional Knowledge:

o Knowledge of local and international banking practices.

o Understanding of Malaysian local tax laws, company law, and other legal compliance requirements.

5. Required Language

o Mandarin and English
