Job Responsibilities
- Seek reliable suppliers to purchase quality goods at reasonable prices
- Liaison & sourcing activities for the suppliers on quality, pricing, credit terms and delivery issues including negotiation of the items.
- Execute purchasing daily operations and responsible for full spectrums of purchasing functions.
- Continuously develop and improve the procurement processes.
- Evaluate vendors’ performance annually by monitoring of ETA´s, KPIs
- Verify with vendors for any discrepancies on Invoices;
- Pricing Benchmarks and updating it in the Netsuite.
- To ensure all required items for production are purchased on time to meet delivery schedule.
- To issue PO to suppliers, keying in, filing and monitoring outstanding PO.
- Timely and accurate processing of Purchase Order and RFQ/RFI/RFP to supplier upon approval of purchase requisition (PR).
- Support procuring activities either in assigned sort centres, stations, regional warehouses and NBU.
- Perform sourcing activities, commercial negotiation, purchase verification, specification required and price comparison until it is being evaluated and finalized.
- Responsible for adhering to the compliance of ISO quality management system and coordinating improvement on processes in the procurement department.
- Supervise junior executive procurement processes and procurements records to ensure database is up to date.
- Assists in the development, and continuous improvement of Quality System (QMS) that are aligned with regulations and Company’s policies.
- Assist task given by a superior from time-to-time
- Candidate must posses at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa. Additional languages such as Mandarin will be advantageous.
- Experience: 2 years in procurement; experience in logistics or e-commerce is a plus
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Bahasa is essential. Mandarin is a bonus!
