Key Responsibilities :

Vendor Management:

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors that meet quality, cost, and Halal certification requirements. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery of products and services.

Procurement Operations:

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, and monitoring delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.

Halal Compliance:

Ensure all purchased products and materials meet Halal standards. Work closely with suppliers to obtain necessary Halal certifications and documentation. Stay updated with changes in Halal certification regulations and standards.

Cost Optimization:

Analyze market trends and supplier performance to negotiate favorable terms and pricing. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or Halal compliance.

Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and production teams to manage stock levels efficiently. Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and overstock.

Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with the quality control team to inspect and verify the quality and Halal compliance of incoming materials. Address and resolve any quality issues with suppliers promptly.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier evaluations. Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, cost analysis, and compliance status.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments such as production, quality assurance, and finance to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business goals.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements in procurement practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance

Qualification :

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the food industry or Halal-certified products.

Strong knowledge of Halal standards and certification processes.

Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in using procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
