This is a contract (potentially convert to full-time) on-site role in Port Dickson as Project Engineer. The ideal candidate will assist the operation manager and project team in overseeing day-to-day project activities, such as project planning, engineering, and management. They will work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are completed within budget, on time and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable in Renewable Energy, Solar PV Systems, Energy Efficiency, Automotive

• Design, build, and install solar energy systems

• Onsite planning and managing of installation teams

• Liaise with vendors in the procurement of components

• Work with the installer to complete and commission projects

• Contact point between the company and client during the construction stage

• Create and execute project work plans and revise them as appropriate to meet changing needs and

requirements.

• Hands-on implementation on site

• Manage the entire construction from pre- to post-construction and handover of the system to the client

• Complete assigned projects on schedule and within budget Identify any potential safety risks within projects

and put in place strategies to mitigate any risks

• Ensure all required Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements are met

• Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.

• Ensure the deadline is met and smooth delivery of the project completion

• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator who can work independently, is resourceful and able to work under minimum

supervision

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields

• 3-5 Years of experience in solar PV, M&E, and Construction

• Candidates with experience in solar project execution will be an advantage

• Knowledge in energy modelling software (PVsyst), AutoCAD, and construction modelling software

• A team player who is results and customer-oriented, independent, creative, and passionate about renewables

• Possesses own transport with valid driving license and can travel to the project location.
