About The Job
- Ensure contractor compliance with HSSE requirements through monitoring, audits, and inspections.
- Supervise HSSE officers and engineers from site contractors.
- Implement and review Contractor Project Safety Plan, PTW System, and Safe Work Procedures for high-risk activities.
- Analyze HSSE data trends and recommend improvements based on audits, inspections, and feedback.
- Manage HSSE performance reports, non-conformities, and corrective actions with the project team and stakeholders.
- Monitor site safety, conduct equipment inspections, safety walks, and meetings.
- Track contractor HSSE performance, ensuring goal zero targets are met.
- Review and approve Safe Work Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- Lead HSSE initiatives, share learnings, and ensure consistent standards.
- Address HSSE issues on-site, escalating major issues when necessary.
- Participate in accident/incident investigations and HSSE reporting.
- Coordinate with management, clients, contractors, and authorities on HSSE matters.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian Standards and update safety procedures.
- Support project documentation, including risk assessments, training matrices, and performance scorecards.

Skills And Experience Required
- Degree in HSE, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Construction, Structural).
- NEBOSH qualification.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Independent, resourceful, and a team player.
- Excellent written English with skills in creating concise reports using infographics and data visualization.
